FTTR (Fiber to The Room) is a new coverage mode of the home network in the gigabit connectivity era and is also the next technological evolution and upgrade of home networking. FTTR (Fiber-to-The-Room) technology refers to the laying of optical fibers to remote nodes. By directly extending the optical fiber to each room of the user, FTTR further upgrades the traditional fiber-to-the-home to fiber-to-the-room, and provides a new Gigabit network coverage solutions, which will be one of the technical directions for future Gigabit home broadband upgrades. In the past, optical fiber was terminated at a single point in the house, but now it can be accessed in every room.
