Troubleshooting

Follow common troubleshooting steps for Internet, Wi-Fi and setup issues on your Mercku network.

Quick Navigation

1. Troubleshooting Overview

Start with the connection, WAN cable and Internet settings before performing more advanced recovery steps.

Check the Connection

Make sure the router is powered on and your device is connected to the Mercku network.

Check WAN & Internet

Check the WAN cable and confirm that the Internet settings match the service provided by your ISP.

Restart When Needed

A restart can help recover from temporary connectivity or setup problems.

LED Status Varies by Model

LED colors and blinking patterns differ between Mercku product models. Use the LED Status guide for your specific model when diagnosing a problem.

2. No Internet Connection

Use the following checks when your devices can connect to the router but cannot access the Internet.

Step 1 — Restart the Main Router

Restart the main router and wait for it to finish booting before testing the connection again.

Step 2 — Check the WAN Cable

Make sure the Internet cable is connected to the router’s WAN port and is securely seated.

Step 3 — Check Internet Settings

Confirm that the Internet connection type and account information are correct for your ISP.

Step 4 — Contact Your ISP

If the router is correctly connected and configured but Internet access is still unavailable, contact your ISP to check the account and service status.

3. App & Setup Issues

If Internet setup fails in the Mercku App, reconnect the network and retry the setup process.

Step 1 — Power Cycle the Mercku Devices

Turn the Mercku router and connected mesh nodes off, then power them on again.

Step 2 — Reconnect to Mercku Wi-Fi

On your phone, reconnect to the Mercku Wi-Fi network.

Step 3 — Restart the Mercku App

Fully close the Mercku App, open it again, and retry the setup.

Step 4 — Test Router Web

If setup still fails, connect a computer to the router and open:

http://mywifi.mercku.tech

If the router cannot reach the Internet, contact your ISP.

Mercku App Connection

If the App asks you to connect to Mercku Wi-Fi, connect your phone to the Mercku network and try again.

4. Static IP Internet Setup

If your ISP provides a fixed IP address, select the Static IP Internet connection type.

Step 1 — Manual Internet Setup

Select Set up the Internet access manually.

Step 2 — Select Static IP

Choose Static IP as the Internet mode.

Step 3 — Enter the ISP Information

Enter the IP information provided by your ISP, then select Next.

Step 4 — Complete Setup

Follow the remaining instructions in the App to finish the configuration.
